Meet our host!

Miriam Bayès

Host, HSD Gathering 2026

Hello!

I discovered Human Systems Dynamics (HSD) eight years ago, and it changed how I work with complexity in human and organizational systems. Now an HSD-certified practitioner, I focus on bringing its ideas into real-life challenges like burnout, impostor syndrome, alignment, empowerment, and decision-making—helping people and organizations navigate uncertainty and act with clarity.

Since the HSD Institute closed in 2024, community has become more important than ever. This gathering is a collective, self-organizing effort across cultures and sectors, and I’m grateful to be holding the baton alongside a committed group of volunteers. I’m excited to see what emerges when we learn and explore together.

A warm welcome to Vic, Barcelona!

  • Bringing in Agile Perspective, by Diana Larsen, Leadership Agility Advisor

  • Workshop in Mental Health by Viktoriia Gorbunova, psychologist, psychotherapist, and researcher at the University of Luxembourg

This workshop introduces the Universal Mental Health Training (UMHT) through the lens of Human Systems Dynamics. Grounded in international guidelines and evidence-based mental health care practice, the programme aims to support personal resilience.

Through the five practical steps – Recognise, Validate, Support, Refer, Ensure – participants will learn how to create adaptive practice to care for themselves and others. We will learn how to spot early signs of distress, look after our own mental health, and offer meaningful support to colleagues.

The workshop invites participants to work with simple yet powerful questions:

    • What patterns am I noticing in my mental health and well-being?

    • How am I making sense of these patterns?

    • What commitments strengthen resilience in my everyday context?

    • Who can I ask for help and support?

    • What adaptive step am I ready to take now?

  • Group activities around pattern spotting and inquiry:

    • Patterns are changing…. what are we noticing?

    • What challenges are we seeing right now in our  world?

  • Inquiry session on two challenges

  • Short inputs from different sectors

  • Plenary connection and reflection
