Renee Athay. Get ready for the day ahead with some Musica do Circulo exercises that emphasize listening and deep human communication. Step out of your head and into your body! Sarah Law facilitates small group work to reflect on the previous day and focus on the day’s experience to come.

Miriam Bayes. A short history of Systemic approaches followed by a reflection back to participants of the kind of issues currently challenging us all.
Live inquiry session: Royce Holladay. Taking one of the common challenges/wicked problems and running an HSD Inquiry session to both demonstrate how it can be used as a powerful lens and potentially “un-stick” something real. Nothing is intractable!

Elvira Booth. An experiential session exploring the powerful social dynamic of “us vs. them” using polarity practices. Recognising how polarisation emerges and how we might shift our role within it; moving from reactive positions toward more adaptive, conscious participation in the system.

Miriam Bayes. As the Gathering moves to the Now What stage we start to pay attention to what we might do both as individuals and collectively as the HSD community.

HSD community members from The Netherlands, Canada, USA, Singapore, UK and the Philippines. Each will give their perspective on a question with global repercussions. The discussion will then be opened with empty spaces in the fishbowl able to be filled by whoever wishes to speak and add to the debate. Time limits will be applied!

Miriam Bayés, Host HSD Gathering 2026
Hola!
I discovered Human Systems Dynamics (HSD) eight years ago, and it changed how I work with complexity in human and organizational systems. Now an HSD-certified practitioner, I focus on bringing its ideas into real-life challenges like burnout, impostor syndrome, alignment, empowerment, and decision-making—helping people and organizations navigate uncertainty and act with clarity.
Since the HSD Institute closed in 2024, community has become more important than ever. This gathering is a collective, self-organizing effort across cultures and sectors, and I’m grateful to be holding the baton alongside a committed group of volunteers. I’m excited to see what emerges when we learn and explore together.
